JEKA is proud to introduce her latest creation, a one-of-a-kind living art piece in the form of a very special and distinctive coat. The hand-painted JEKA coat is designed to move and interact with the world around us, adding a touch of art to everyday activities like commuting, strolling, or attending events. It can even be displayed as a unique wall hanging.
Jelena:
Recently, I had the opportunity to wear this coat to a fabulous launch party at the Perseus Art Gallery in Soho, New York. I was inspired to create this specific coat as a tribute to the late Brandon Lee and to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his final film, 'The Crow'.
My goal was to capture the essence of the film and honour Brandon's legacy through my art.
As I made my way to the event, within a short amount of time I was pleasantly surprised to receive several compliments about the coat from fans of 'The Crow'. It was a heartwarming experience to hear strangers open up about how Brandon touched their hearts and souls and hear from them, how my creation resonated with them and sparked conversations about the iconic film brought to life by Brandon, and what the iconic film and Brandon’s untimely tragic death on the film set meant to them.
I truly hope he would have approved of my interpretation.
Best wishes
Jelena

Brandon Lee - Final Interview
I have done other films that have had violence in them, but I have never done anything where I felt that the violence was as justified as this. There is very little need to worry about compassion for his victims.
This is justice, and I truly feel that it is, and I truly feel if I was in the same situation I would do the same thing: It is something that he has to do, and he is forced to put aside his own pain long enough to do what he has to.
This film deals with the concept of a solution being struck between good and evil.
Because we do not know when we are going to die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well and yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood? An afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you cannot conceive of your life without it? Perhaps 4 .... 5 times more. Perhaps not even that.
How many times will you watch the full moon rise ...... Perhaps twenty and yet it all seems limitless.
This is the point of view this character is coming from in the whole film because it has brought sharply into focus how precious each moment of his life was.
This is the best role I have had the opportunity to get my hands on".
